As a working mom to three small boys, I created Hummingbird Childcare Center and LoCol Co-Work as an affordable, flexible resource for working families.
I have lived and worked in Blair County all of my life. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business from Penn State Altoona. I am passionate about our community, empowering others and creating an atmosphere that harbors a safe space to build a strong foundation for our children and our Child Care Professionals.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy camping, hiking and new adventures.
To me, when I think of Hummingbirds, I think of peace, harmony, love, patience and tranquility. These qualities the hummingbird possesses were also consistent with my grandmother Katherines personality. My grandmother was one of the most inspirational, maternal figures in my life and continues to be even after her passing. My mother, Sue, radiates these same traits everyday and who continues to be my biggest supporter.
